We’re happy to announce Quick’s Big Thing, our second annual concert and awards show to recognize the talented bands in the local music scene.
It all happens Friday, June 5, at 8 p.m. at the Granada Theater. Read on for voting and ticket info, along with the performers lined up for the event. And come join us on the big night.
THE AWARDS
There are eight categories this year — big group, solo artist, album, song, live act, next big thing, DJ and studio ace. The nominees were determined by our local-music panel.
There are 10 nominees in each category. Note that winners last year are not eligible in the same category this year, to spread the love around.
HOW TO VOTE
You can vote one time per category online. (Yes, registration is required, but it is relatively painless.) You can also vote once per category via text-messaging. See the nominees for their individual code number. Then you text that number to 25430. Standard message charges apply. Text STOP at any time to quit.
